Our engineers also made several recommendations such as alternative types of anchors, width changes to the skid frames to reduce frame packing requirements, plus using Victaulic couplings instead of flanges to reduce problems during installation, and make transportation of the pipe-work to site easier.
Works involved included:
- Blower air pipes manufactured and installed for blowers
- Pipe-work from the blower room to the basin tanks.
- Four Fine Bubble Diffuser skids in the bottom of 5m deep tank. Siemens to install diffuser caps. The Skid is removable for maintenance and guided by four 100mm x 100mm SS316 angles secured to the wall.
