Quest Apartments enlists Grip Guard Non-Slip Treatment

Grip Guard non-slip floor safety treatment has been used in a number of areas at Quest Apartments to increase the slip resistance of pedestrian surfaces.

Lack of slip resistance in wet areas, such as bathrooms, bathtubs and showers are a major cause of slip and fall accidents.  Tiles may be safe when dry but when floors become wet from water that is splashed, dripped or tracked onto the floor, these surfaces can be very dangerous. 

Grip Guard non-slip floor treatment microscopically modifies the pore structure of ceramic tiles, porcelain tiles, marble, granite and other stone-based surfaces to increase the floors slip resistance when wet.

Grip Guard nonslip floor treatment was also utilised to increase the slip resistance in the kitchens at Quest Apartments.  Liquids spilled onto the floor and then tracked to other areas can easily lead to a slip and fall accident and management were keen to ensure that this was not an issue at Quest.

Grip Guard non-slip treatment is used extensively in the hospitality industry including hotels, motels, clubs, pubs, and restaurants.

Grip Guard provides floor safety assessments aimed at helping business owners meet their OH&S obligations in regards to floor safety.  Floors are measured to determine their coefficient of friction (slip resistance) and reporting includes these measurements as well as recommendations for suggested floor safety initiatives to protect pedestrians who use the facilities.
