Unlike a scissor lift table, a scissor lift trolley is the combination of a standard trolley and a lifting jack. The purpose of this type of trolley is to enable the operator to safely lift, lower and transport goods without the risk of dangerous repetitive bending and lifting motions. This is achieved through the use of a foot operated rising and lowering pedal. Additionally, the pushing handle is located at an ergonomic height ensuring a good work posture while in use.

Scissor lift trolleys are designed to sustain high weight capacities, allowing for large quantities of product and material to be moved at one time. This in turn saves workers time and energy as they no longer have to make multiple trips when transporting goods. Depending on the model of scissor lift trolley the load capacity ranges from 150 - 2000kg.

The applications for scissor lift trolleys are broad as they are suitable for situations where transporting, lifting and adjusting the working height is an everyday challenge. They can also double as a secondary workbench allowing the operator to place the necessary tools and materials on the counter top and position them accordingly.
