Overview

A compounder is a type of machine used to mix materials together to produce a composite material. Compounders are used in a wide range of industries to produce everything from plastics to rubber to cosmetics. The process works by melting the individual components and then blending them together, potentially adding a range of fillers and additives. Once blended, the material is then cooled and the end product is a homogenous material with a range of desired properties. Compounders are used for testing, developing and producing different polymeric materials such as thermoplasts, elastomers, food and for medical & pharmaceutical applications.

The Compounder Type E Entrance is perfectly suitable for simple compounding works. The standard machine can very variably compound different polymers and is very flexible regarding dosing – side feeders, volumetric or gravimetric dosing units.
