EON Instrumentation Timecode Generator ...
Used in Broadcasting, Defence and many other Industrial Applications where a time reference is required.
The ITS Model 6155E is a portable timecode generator that provides an IRIG B timecode output from a GPS signal. It includes a 12 channel GPS receiver which automatically views all satellites upon power up and locks an internal IRIG B time code generator to the GPS time. If the signal is lost it will automatically switch to an internal clock and continue generating the output IRIG B signal.
Firstly, the UTC time, latitude and longitude serial output is provided as asynchronous 19.2k baud RS-232 signal. However, if there is no GPS lock the serial data will continue with the time from the internal clock. But the longitude and latitude will be forced to zeros and signs will be forced to positive.
Secondly, this handheld product is housed in an aluminium enclosure. It is 20.32cm long, 9.65cm wide and 6.48cm high. It includes rechargeable batteries and an attached active antenna. The LCD Display shows the IRIG time, lock and battery status. All controls and indicators are on the front and connectors are on the top. Batteries are accessible via removable panel on the bottom.
Lastly, EON Instrumentation purchased the ITS Product line of HD-SDI and Analog Video Inserters, Time Code Generators & Displays, Video Recorders, Encoders and Controllers. Firstly, this will expand their current Video System Architecture product line to include flight test through mission system production. Also, manufactured and customised under EON’s AS9100D Quality System in the USA
