DATA ACQUISITION WHILE DRILLING
The DAWD real-time system monitors readings from various sensors on a drilling rig. Readings are displayed in real-time on a sunlight readable display.

BEARING AND AIRFLOW TEMPERATURE MONITORING (DEWATERING PROJECT)
To assist in maintenance and pump longevity during the dewatering of a mining pit, Pacific Data Systems provided a system which monitored temperatures of bearings and pumps with alarms for the automatic switching off of pumps.

SOLAR TRACKING AND WEATHER STATION
Pacific Data Systems supplied a remote and self powered ground station that would routinely monitor and log solar and
weather data measured on site. The station is being used by the Transfield Consortium to evaluate the sites suitability for a solar thermal power station.

UNDERGROUND VEHICLE BRAKE MONITORING
Pacific Data Systems supplied a brake monitoring system on a fleet of underground mining vehicles to log speed, brake temperatures, application, gear level and other parameters to reduce wear and tear and lower ongoing maintenance costs.

ODOUR MONITORING FOR COMPLAINT RESOLUTION
Wind speed and direction, along with other parameters, are logged at the customer's landfill entrance with real-time display of data via our in-house written software.
