Fro Hilma of Germany, M-TECS 130 and M-TECS 210 operate with an electric permanent magnet with special long poles to provide maximum safety, power and reliability.
Ideal for processing thermoplastics, duroplastics or rubber, the M-TECS system is designed to suit all types of machine, both horizontal adn vertical with a relatively low investment cost.
Injection molds, even if not standardized, can be easily and quickly changed without the need for re-tooling. Clamp force is distributed evenly all over the clamping surface leading to reduced tool wear and lower maintenance costs.
M-TECS 130 is stable up to 130 degree C and produces outstanding power concentration with clamping forces to 18kg/cm2 which makes the system much stronger than any comparable magnetic plates. It is available for machines of between 300 kN and 50,000 kN with larger systems on request.
When it comes to elastomers and duroplastics, the M-TECS 210 is temperature resistant to 210 degrees C and allows molds to be quickly changed over even if they are hot. With no downtime or waiting time (to cool down or heat up tools) changeover times can sometimes be cut by hours.
A real highlight is the magnetic clamping plate M-TECS 210 with an integral heating plate. Basically the system is available in various designs, with and without heating, for presses, injection molding machines and for vacuum technologies.
