TM Supplies Pty Ltd was founded in 1969 by Mr Tankred Mueller with humble beginnings in the Western Suburbs, operating from the back of a van with a small store-room in Sunshine until expansion of his sales and products resulted in having to find larger premises to store his ever growing list of welding and affiliated products.

In 1995 TM Supplies Pty Ltd was rebranded to become Migwell Australia and was moved to Princess Highway Dandenong where the business continued to grow. In 1999 Tankred approached Nigel who he considered the ‘biggest thorn in his side’ with an opportunity to become an employee and purchase the Migwell business.

Nigel became the new owner of Migwell Australia in May 2000, and he took on this opportunity with enthusiasm and drive to make Migwell a specialist supplier of Welding equipment, safety and abrasives, whilst also growing the Migwell brand and reputation exponentially to be widely known as an expert in the Welding field.

Nigel runs the Migwell business with a “can do” approach to ensure that all customers needs are satisfied, and no stone is left unturned in the provision of a solution to any customer issue.

Migwell Australia services and supplies customers from all walks of life and all industries, from the occasional home handyman welder to fabrication and engineering businesses, education facilities, government and government contractors, major projects and interstate and international customers.

Migwell Australia has created themselves to be a powerhouse within the industry by listening to the customer’s needs and not just selling “out of the box”.

Migwell Australia can provide custom tailored welding machines, systems, both manual and automated, as well as parts and products that are considered hard to come by and/or specialised.
