Starleaton is one of Australia’s leading suppliers of technology and consumables to the graphic imaging markets. These include outdoor and indoor signage, display, point-of-purchase, window and floormounted graphics. Since its 2016 acquisition of DES, the company’s reach has extended into packaging, commercial printing, photographic, fine art, CAD/GIS, high-end colour management and soft proofing. With eight locations across the ANZ region from Perth to Auckland and a staff of over 70; Starleaton can justifiably claim to be at or near the top of the league of suppliers to this industry sector.

Starleaton was established in 1978 by my father Peter Eaton and has grown to be Australia and New Zealand’s largest family-run supplier to the Graphic Arts, Sign & Display, CAD and Photo/Fine Art sectors. A purposeful move into digital technologies in 2000, just as flatbed UV printers were emerging, opened up many new markets, with Starleaton’s experience and knowledge bank being further boosted in 2016 by the acquisition of DES.

As wide format digital technology advanced and moved beyond signage into new areas such as packaging and textiles, so has Starleaton’s product and service offering. Today, we offer complete solutions to the graphic disciplines that use wide format digital inkjet equipment, software and materials – backed by an unparalleled level of expertise and combined staff knowledge amounting to scores, probably hundreds, of years!
