With a direct presence in Adelaide, Brisbane, Melbourne and Sydney, TRIO focused on providing test equipment solutions from a range of industry-leading suppliers. In 2018, TRIO was acquired by IPD Group, a privately owned Australian company with a national footprint servicing the electrical industry whose origins date back to the 1950s as part of GEC. Other IPD acquisitions include Hivotech in 2014 - a supplier & manufacturer of LV & HV test equipment for rail and utility asset maintenance, Central Test in 2017 - a NATA Accredited HV and instrument testing & calibration business, Zinfra High Voltage Test Labs in 2018 and Addelec Power Services in 2019.
