Overwing Cantilever Platform

Stocked, with only minor modifications, able to be supplied very quickly. Versatile, with adjustable features like the guardrails, and being mobile on wheels, the platform can be repositioned and reconfigured to suit many and varied tasks. Compact, while being suitable for many tasks, it is still compact and able to be us easily used and stored on the tarmac.

Based on the stocked Cantlilever Platform, which includes features like a large 1000mm cantilever and a self-closing access gate off the end of the cantilever, several custom features were added to make the platform more suitable for use on out on the tarmac for inspections that are completed each flight.

These customisations include: 

• Sliding/Removable Side Guardrails (they can slide down to midrail height or be removed entirely).
• Lift-over Lever Brake, which provides a single braking location.
• Bat-wing Gates, this retro-fit item is available off the shelf and provides a much more user-friendly access gate at the top of the access ladder, which can’t be left open.
• Stair Nosing, which highlights individual steps ensuring they are visually distinctive.
