The model FBMDZ FastBack conveyor is equipped with a metal detector zone and discharge gate provides a low-maintenance method of detecting and rejecting metal contaminants.

Located at either end or in the middle of the pan, the machined and formed polycarbonate metal detector zone provides an excellent alternative to traditional belt conveyors. FastBacks incorporating this feature eliminate the worry of tracking problems and product build-up issues that are common to belt systems. Precision machined surfaces also reduce build-up by eliminating product catch points.

With the addition of a mid or end-gate, the FastBack becomes a complete system for detecting and rejecting foreign metal objects.
