Posital Absolute Rotary Encoders IXARC | ...
Absolute rotary encoders can provide precise and unambiguous measurements without losing track of their position due to a temporary loss of instrument power.
Our Range of Products include
Singleturn Encoders are providing a measurement range of 360 degrees (one turn). When the shaft of the encoder is turned by more than 360 degrees, output characteristics in subsequent turns will be equal to the first turn. Examples: output@361 degrees = output@1 degree, output@720 degrees = output@360 degrees.
Multiturn encoders provide a measurement range of more than 360 degrees by additionally measuring the number of revolutions. The output signal is based on the number of revolutions as well as on the shaft position within one turn.Example: The output signal/value after 3.5 turns (starting from zero) will be 7 times higher than the output after the first half turn
Programmable Encoders: Incremental and absolute encoder functions on a common hardware platform. The measurement characteristics of the device (number of pulses per rotation, output level, etc.) can be modified through a software update without requiring any changes to physical components.
A variety of Interfaces: Analog, CANopen, Profibus, DeviceNet, J1939, Interbus, EtherCAT, Ethernet/IP, ProfiNet, Powerlink, Modbus+Ethernet TCP, SSI
ATEX-certified rotary encoders: are designed to operate safely in atmospheres where there are potentially dangerous levels of explosive gases or dust. This feature is part of the IXARC family of magnetic and optical rotary sensors and are available in single- or multi-turn versions
