Ground Loop Detectors | Procon LD 100 & 200 Series
Need a loop detector with high noise immunity, the LD100 and LD200 series are resistant to interference from other sources. Super sensitive they can detect small or fast-moving objects providing a high level of safety for fast doors and boom gates.

Applications
Connected to an inductive loop mounted in the road surface these single and dual channel detectors are designed for parking and access control applications.
When vehicles pass over the loop the detector switches on an output. typically the LD100 and LD200 series are safety loops for barriers or gates, arming loops for activating card dispensers and vehicle counting with direction logic.
Features
Available as a 1,2 or 4 channel loop detector. Other models have diagnostic capabilities and an RS485 communications port
Reset switch enables manual resetting of the detector during commissioning and testing
Selectable pulse time sets the length of time that the pulse relay will be energised for 0.1 or 0.2 seconds
Pulse relay selection configures the pulse relay to energise on detection of a vehicle or when the vehicle leaves the loop.
Sensitivity boost sets the undetect level to maximum sensitivity and is used to prevent loss of detection of high-bed vehicles
Eight sensitivity settings are available on the switches to allow flexibility in configuration
Two switch selectable frequency settings are available to prevent cross-talk between adjacent loops
Filter option provides a delay between detection of the vehicle and switching of the output relay preventing false detection of small or fast-moving objects
Permanent presence option ensures detection of the vehicle will be maintained when the vehicle is parked over the loop for extended periods
Available with the LD200 Series Only
Internal jumpers enable the output relay contacts to be configured for normally open or normally closed contacts
Direction logic enables the detector to give a pulse output on relay1 for a vehicle travelling from loop1 to loop2 and a pulse output on relay 2 for a vehicle travelling from loop2 to loop1.
Benefits
High noise immunity as standard which prevents interference from outside sources
Eight sensitivity settings and automatic sensitivity boost enables them to detect small cars and high bed trucks
Very fast response time of 120ms the loop provides an excellent safety feature for even the fastest doors and parking boom gates
Are interchangeable with other leading brands and have the same pin configuration
Microprocessor and surface mount technology enables a large number of functions to be incorporated into a small package
Easy to set-up and install.
