The Scaime optical tiltmeter (OBTI) offers measurement of angular displacement with high sensitivity of 2 x 10-3 °/pm. It has a resolution of 0.002° and a combined error percentage of 0.5 %. It enables the monitoring of verticality of dams, bridge piles, tunnels, buildings etc. It comes with an additional built-in Bragg grating for temperature compensation.

The OBTI mounting brackets allow easy installation and adjustment of the sensor. This sensor is also available in an intrinsically safe (IECEx certified) version for measurement in hazardous and explosive areas.
