Telford Smith Mechanical Driers
Material Enters The Dryer At The Upper Or Lower Section Of The Rotor Whereby It Is Subjected To Strong Centrifugal Force. This Centrifugal Force Separates Moisture From The Material. Water Passes Through The Screen Holes And Is Discharged At The Base Of T
For Centrifugal Drying of Plastic Film & Rigid Plastics
Material enters the dryer at the upper or lower section of the rotor whereby it is subjected to strong centrifugal force. This centrifugal force separates moisture from the material. Water passes through the screen holes and is discharged at the base of the machine. Dry material is transferred horizontally along the dryer by the inclined rotor paddles and discharged into the downstream pneumatic conveying system. The rotor is dynamically balanced and equipped with removable Hardox rotor tips thereby allowing low cost maintenance in high wear applications. The rotor bearings are separated from the main body of the machine to prevent ingress of water and contaminants. The access covers, inlet and outlet chutes are fabricated from 304 stainless steel whilst the support frame is hot dip galvanized to prevent corrosion.
